Marked for Musikk programråd ble i år utfordret på å løfte frem en erfaren kvalitetsproduksjon som vi alle fortsatt kan lære noe av. Valget falt på denne bluesforestillingen. Konserten ble laget i samarbeid med Rikskonsertene i 2014, og gleder fortsatt barn over hele landet!
Forestillingen forteller om bluesens historie fra slavetiden på bomullsmarkene i USA, via Chicago blues, Lillebjørn Nilsen og bluesens inntog i rocken. Sammen med noen av landets fremste musikere i sjangeren, inviteres barna inn i blåtonenes verden. 

The Market for Music programme committee this year was challenged to lift up an experienced quality production that we can all still learn from. They chose this blues performance, made in collaboration with Concerts Norway in 2014. The show tells us the history of blues, from the slaves in the cotton fields in the US, via Chicago Blues, Lillebjørn Nilsen, and the entry of blues in rock music. The child audience is invited by some of the country’s finest musicians of the genre, into the world of blue tones.
