In this concert we meet Abraham Reunion that consists of four young musicians living in Paris with roots from Guadeloupe and Martinique in the Caribbean. As young adults they reunited through music, rhythm, and language to express their dual culture. With a playful improvisational approach and rhythmic complexity, they express their Caribbean roots in a unique and innovative way. The concert aims to promote curiosity and understanding of foreign cultures through a positive and powerful performance. Through their strong musical expression and ability to communicate, the production has educational and artistic relevance for all young audiences. Produced by DKS Viken.
I denne konserten møter vi Abraham Reunion, som består av fire unge musikere fra Paris med røtter fra Guadeloupe og Martinique i Karibia. I ungdomsårene fant de sammen gjennom musikk, rytme og språk for å gi uttrykk for sin kulturelle bakgrunn. Gruppen spiller med en leken og improvisatorisk tilnærming ispedd rytmiske krumspring, og formidler sin karibiske arv på en unik og oppfinnsom måte. Målet med konserten er å spre nysgjerrighet og forståelse for fremmede kulturer gjennom en positiv og fengslende formidling.
